Our Vision

We envision a world where saltwater resources are used to grow healthy food
sustainably and reduce food insecurity around the world.

Our Philosophy

We care about the planet just as much as we care about people. In turn, Red Sea Farms combines impact with innovation through saltwater-based agriculture products, systems, and services that are environmentally and economically sustainable and help support the nutritional needs of water-scarce populations.

Our Services

Red Sea Farms offers products and services designed to help farmers grow food sustainably using fewer resources in water-scarce areas.

Produce

We sell organic, pesticide-free tomatoes and other produce grown sustainably in our own saltwater greenhouses and via partner farms.

Technology

We build new saltwater greenhouses as well as retrofit existing greenhouses with our patent-pending saltwater-cooling and Coretex control system technologies.

Consulting

We provide technical advice, design guidance, project management, operations management, and grower services for saltwater and desert agriculture.

Meet Our team

Founded by world-renowned plant scientist Mark Tester and agriculture engineering expert Ryan Lefers, the Red Sea Farms team is committed and dedicated to solving one of today’s greatest problems—how to feed the world in the face of diminishing resources.
